HHH...Parents!

The beginning of the concert was GOOD. However, the night would have been better if my parents let me stay long enough to actually see Hot Hot Heat. My dad freaked out that I stayed 10 minutes later then planned. My mom said that 11:30PM was too late for me to be out. Can you believe that? oh well, at least I got to see them play 2 songs. The Futureheads were awesome, they were the second band to open. I loved Russ, the guitar player. They are a British band that actually who sing with a British accent, not like some of those boy band from that area.
I encourage you all to get their album, you won't regret, i think.

Weekend

Ok, the coolest thing happened. Actually, not the coolest, but still cool. I got a reply from a keypal e-mail that I sent to a guy from Sweden. (Hey Jonas!) I have actually wanted a penpal from the northern part of Europe. When I signed up for the penpal thing at school , I ended up with penpals from Portugal, but that was cool too. But I was dissapointed since I wanted someone from the UK or France.
Ok, now for some chit chat in French: Je suis pressé à finir mon projet de physiques. Le sujet est: les science de l'équitation. ça sera interessant, je crois. J'ai fait mon comp de AP, est c'est absolument horrible. Je la déteste. J'ai screwé la signifiance de la musique. I shouldn't have done that topic. I started talking about how people blamed Marilyn Manson for the Columbine shooting, which was totally not appropriate for the prompt. I can't believe that I used it, since I don't actually believe Marilyn had anything to do with the whole thing.

Variety Night

I just tried out for Variety Night with Stacey and Tommy, it was good except we were a little low on energy. But we did our best since our drummer wasn't able to be with us. It was fun.

I think I'll be able to go to Hot Hot Heat. Finally! I guess I got maybe 30$ to spend away. The rest of it is saved up.

Music

Ok, so I auditioned for the Music Education program yesterday at the U of S. Well, I played two pieces: the first one was a disaster...the second one was really good. Afterwards was the interview, which was really good too. Well, I could say that my chances of getting in...I don't know. I might or might not. That first piece really destroyed me, but the rest of the audition may have been redemption.
Guess who else I saw at the auditions? Denis Carson. I thought, no way. But he was auditioning for Tuba. Funny thing is that I didn't see him at the theory placement test. Maybe he's writing it in the fall. I don't think there's any chance of him not getting in, being that there aren't many tuba players auditioning to begin with.
